On a final closure call, what do you do, when the prospect says - 'Either you give me the price I want or I will give this deal to your competitor who is waiting outside'.
Context (Selling a Product)
With every single attempt of yours to describe how you provide 10X more value than your competitor, the prospect responds that if you don't lower your price the deal goes to the competition - he invariably says something along the lines of 'Take it or leave it'.
Assume this to be a B2B business deal which has been open for over 2 months & the prospect has zeroed in on you & your closest competitor. The competitor enjoys the 1st mover advantage in the industry and has many more similar clienteles to boast of. Your competition is also cheaper, has a wider network, larger team etc.
And yes this is the last final Deal Closure Call. The prospect won't divide the deal between two vendors.
HOW DO YOU TURN THIS AROUND????
